In the beginning

For my first blog, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a bit about my journey as a writer. From a young age, I’ve always been drawn to storytelling, particularly the kind that sweeps you away into other worlds. Fantasy has been my creative home for as long as I can remember—the magic, the rich landscapes, and the complex characters offer endless opportunities for imagination.

Right now, I’m in the final stages of drafting my novel, Of Flame and Fern. It’s a story that explores elemental magic, fae intrigue, and the journeys of twin sisters, Thera and Eiryn, as they discover their own paths in a world shaped by power and ancient traditions. There's also a strong romantic thread woven throughout, as the characters navigate love, loyalty, and the choices that could reshape their lives.

I’ve always loved creating complex worlds and characters that feel real despite their magical surroundings, and this project has been no exception. It's been a rewarding experience, watching the story evolve and seeing where it takes me. I’ll be sharing updates on the drafting process, thoughts on writing, and maybe even some sneak peeks of what’s to come.
